Ethical Technology & Innovation

In his opening address, Director Prof. V. Kamakoti highlighted the fast-paced growth of Artificial Intelligence. He argued strongly that ethical responsibility and inner balance must stay central to engineering, transforming technology into a compassionate force for societal good. Dean Prof. Ashwin Mahalingam echoed this, stating that true innovation happens when inner awareness securely anchors outer action.

"सभ किछ घर महि बाहर नाही, बाहर टोलै सो भरम भुलाही ॥"
— Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj (Quoted by Maharaj Ji)
"Everything lies within us, those who search outside remain lost in illusion."

The Mechanics of SOS Meditation

During his key address, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj taught that while physical sciences examine outer space, spirituality is the science tracking our internal universe. He introduced the practical, universal nature of SOS Meditation, clarifying that it functions independently of any religious or cultural backgrounds.

Maharaj Ji outlined the core steps to the audience:

  • Stilling the External: Calming the physical body and smoothly withdrawing active attention from the five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch).
  • Inward Focus: Closing the eyes and turning consciousness inward to access deep states of light and clarity.
  • Mental Anchor: Silently repeating a loving or peaceful name of God to minimize the random flow of distracting thoughts.
