This course aims to explore the interactions between the natural environment and human societies through an interdisciplinary lens. It aims to explore how the relationship between the environment and society is a product of socio-cultural, economic, and political processes drawing on various eminent thinkers in the field of environment including Carson, Meadows, Gandhi, Scumacher, Forsyth and Hintz.
