Non-fiction

Creative nonfiction relies on elements from fiction, poetry and journalism to tell a fact-based story. It’s an umbrella term that includes the essay, memoir, travel writing, and nature writing, and other forms.

Fiction

Fiction, by definition, isn’t commanded by statistics and facts, but that is not to say it doesn’t seek the truth. A story seeks to say what cannot be easily said, which is why stories repeat themselves: the deeper mysteries of life continually beg further illumination. A story can illuminate mystery but can never reduce it to a universal equation.

Science Writing

Scientific writing communicates the approaches, methods, results, and implications of scientific investigations. The most effective scientific writing is not only precise and accurate, but also tells a compelling scientific story.

Writing is considered to be an art but it is also a skill to be nurtured and honed. Many people, young and old, find it daunting to write a short piece in a magazine or a newspaper leave alone attempting to publish an article in an academic journal or writing a book in any field of study or research.

TESTIMONIAL
I got to overcome my fear of reading my work aloud to other people, and i got to see how different people have radically different styles of writing and how to appreciate each one.
Sruthi Sriramkumar
Fiction Group
I was able to understand the different thought processes of different people and each one was very unique in their own way. It is a great method to appreciate and understand other works.
MehaaShree
Non-fiction Group
As a reader, it was empowering. As a listener it was entertaining. Each reader actually had a powerful piece to share. It was like discovering our potential
