Dr. Avishek Parui won Meenakshi Mukherjee Prize 2019

Dr. Avishek Parui, Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences on winning the Meenakshi Mukherjee Prize 2019 for the best published paper of the year by the Indian Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies (IACLALS)​ for his paper entitled  What’s the Use of Stories that Aren’t Even True?”: Agency, Fabulation and the Epistemology of the Storytelling Self in Salman Rushdie’s Haroun and the Sea of Stories.
