Dr Hemachandran Karah teaches English Literature at the Humanities and Social sciences faculty. He is interested in researching on themes such as disability, health, the language question, literary criticism, and musicology.
The hallmark of humanities scholarship lies in its rare capacity to enrich responsible worldviews, empathy, justice, and care. Karah’s activism as a teacher and a scholar caters to such a goal. In addition to academic writing, Karah regularly contributes for newspapers and magazines.
